Advaita philosophy in brief: Brahman is the supreme reality. The world is apparent, like a water in a mirage. The real nature of the individual soul is divine but that divinity is covered by ignorance. It is due to ignorance that human beings limit themselves and think that they are men or women, Indians or Americans, healthy or sick, beautiful or ugly, rich or poor, learned or illiterate, happy or unhappy, etc. Actually they are the infinite, eternal, blissful Self. Human beings are hypnotized by maya, illusion; one has to dehypnotize oneself in order to be FREE. Do this either by work (karma), or worship (bhakti), or psychic control (thantra), or philosophy (njana); by one, or more, or all of these – and BE FREE. This is the whole of religion. Doctrines, or dogmas, or rituals, or books, or temples, or forms, are but secondary details.
Advaita Ashramam, Nanniode, is being established as part of NARDC’s CSR initiative in Palakkad District, Kerala, India – 678534.
Purpose: To educate the message of Advaita for the removal of ignorance of the Self, the one cause of pain, evil and suffering. Liberation is through knowledge of Advaita alone.
Dedicated to the practical Advaita and the pursuit of the ultimate truth in all forms – whether in art, religion, science, or philosophy, across all ages and cultures – the ashramam seeks to integrate science and spirituality into daily life.

Self Transformation Movement (STM) initiative
Transform Yourself and You Transform Your World: The meaningful change begins with Self transformation and accountability. The transformation of the world is brought about by the transformation of oneself because the Self is the product and a part of the total process of human existence. To transform oneself, self-knowledge is essential; without knowing what you are, there is no basis for right thought and without knowing oneself, there cannot be a transformation.
Growing Future Kids
For ages 11-19 years, Narayana Home School is a personalized Gurukulam at Nanniode, Palakkad, Kerala, dedicated to the holistic development of neighboring local students. The home school activities began in 2011, emphasizes nurturing well-rounded personalities through academics, arts, athletics, sports, and spirituality.

Cross Country Cycling (CCC) rally cum road race is a sporting event conducted to spread the message that “bicycle is a simple solution to the world’s most complicated problems such as health and global warming.” Next event, CCC6, Cross Country Cycling Championship, is scheduled to be sometime in 2025.
